An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, motivated and hard-working Medical Administrator to join our friendly, family GP Practice in Farnham. Duties will include processing medical reports and documents, scanning, coding letters, and providing administrative support to our clinicians. The successful candidate will need to be well organised, have an eye for detail with good IT skills. A basic knowledge of medical terminology would be preferable. Previous experience within a GP Practice would be an advantage but is not essential as would minute taking
The ideal candidate will have experience of EMIS Web, a good standard of written and spoken English, be highly organised, flexible, professional and a good team player.
You will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of patients, nurses and GPs following policies and procedures.
It is essential that applicants are available for flexible working hours, as being part of our team requires you to be available to work extra hours when needed to cover annual and sick leave
We are seeking a Part Time Medical Receptionist to join our team!
We are looking for a part time receptionist to join our friendly team at the River Wey Medical Practice. We are a busy and expanding GP surgery here in Farnham. The successful applicant should have excellent people skills, be a strong and flexible team player, computer literate and able to work on their own initiative. Hours of work - 16 hours over 3 days between 07:30 - 18:30 plus extra cover when needed. Shift pattern to be agreed.

The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to develop skills that would be applicable to medicine, including communication, patience, responsibility, accuracy, punctuality, reliability, team work, leadership, teaching and learning.
As well as giving you a taste of medicine, to ensure it is a career that you want, the work experience also aims to give you an understanding of the emotional and physical demands that make up being a medical professional.
