Please be aware that you cannot request prescriptions through the MJOG Appointment Reminder Texts system. If you wish to order a prescription, please email or write to the practice.

 

Nurses

Practice nurses are qualified and registered nurses. They can help with health issues such as family planning, healthy living advice, blood pressure checks and dressings. The practice nurses run clinics for long-term health conditions such as asthma or diabetes, minor ailment clinics and carry out cervical smears.

Mrs Wendy Armstrong (f)

Wendy is the Practice Healthcare Assistant and supports the practice nurses with their daily work and carries out tasks such as blood pressure measurement,ECGs, flu vaccinations and NHS health checks. She may act as a chaperone when a patient or doctor requests one.
